Foreign Student Information

Distance Learning Online

Quality Christian Education

NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING NATIONS:

1. We are pleased that you have taken the time to review and explore our distance learning website. As you can see, our program is geared toward English speaking people. Each prospective student is therefore required to take the TOEFL test of English. Once the test is completed please have the results sent to TBC.

2. Please know that we have a history with on-campus students of other nationalities, so we are not new to this. Should you feel that you are up to the challenge, that is, to study on the college level, here are TBC's requirements for foreign students:

    • Each student needs to be able to access the internet with at least broadband speed, that is, DSL or cable.
      Note: dial-up will not do!

    • Tuition is the same for foreign students as it is for those in the US. In many cases our operating expenses are more for foreign students than for students in the US or Canada for the following reasons: postage, overseas calls, and the extra time it takes to process and grade papers, etc.

    • The application fee is also the same price, $25.00, for many of the same reasons listed above.

    • We have reached our limit on granting scholarships, so please do not seek one. We wish we could help everyone, but that is not realistic.

Suggestions: If you think you can write and speak English well enough to take our courses, but the cost is the real issue--please appeal to your local church for the necessary funds. Express your desire to volunteer, help teach Bible class, work on the building, serve food at the local mission, or perhaps preach whenever possible. We have found that there are many ways to get others involved with your education process. This effort will not only bless you but those who agree to help.

    ENGLISH SPEAKING NATIONS:

    1. If you are from the UK, or a primarily English speaking country, and wish to audit (take our courses with college credit) our courses you may do so. 3. 2. The requirements for auditing classes can be found by clicking on this link.

      3. If you do want to take courses for credit, the requirement is to have graduated with a high school diploma OR have a G.E.D.
